KAWEAH OAKS PRESERVE
EAST OF VISALIA, CA
RoboHawk flew and mapped the Kaweah Oaks Preserve, a beautiful and significant conservation property located east of Visalia, CA. At almost 400 acres, it is one of the last remnants of the original oak and riparian woodlands of the Kaweah River watershed in the western Sierra foothills. Using 2261 individual high-resolution photographs with geo-tags overlapped and stitched together using advanced computer algorithms, we were quickly and economically able to provide the Sequoia Riverlands Trust with a complete high definition orthomosaic photo map (displayed at end of video clip) as well as a short promotional video using aerial photos and video captured during the same visit and during the apex of the spring growing season.
